    Note:  This is not a complete list of cities that have open competition.  If you live in or around one of these cities chances are you do have a choice in electricity providers.  There are some areas in Texas where electric competition is not available.  Some large municipalities like the City of Austin and the City of San Antonio are not currently open for competition.  Customers should contact their city utility for more information.
